I have visited Medivet South Harrow on many occasions with my cats. Sadly one has died and the other has kidney problems. Thanks to the expertise of Nicola and team I have had sound advice. My cat is on medication as a result of having a scan at Hendon. Hopefully he can lead a happy life with us for a while longer. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

I've taken my cat Ellie to medivet South narrow for a long time now and I've always been very happy the way Nicola and her team have treated Ellie sadly Ellie passed away recently she was 17 years old she was a pedigree cat Persian Burmese chinchilla so her life expectancy was a lot longer than I had expected,Nicola and her team were so kind and sympathetic to me they even sent me a card and some flowers,because I've known Nicola and her team since she first started at South harrow,I would highly recommend that anybody with a pet take there animal there for treatment,you won't be dissapointed,I'm sure once you have used medivet in South harrow you will be more than pleased with the service you get from Nicola Wong and her team absolutely fantastic

We are very happy and lucky that doctor like Nikola Wong and all staf from South Harrow Medivet clinic taking care of our animals. First of all she is the real professional. Only Nichola can comfort me, calm my fears and listen to all my worries and suspicions of the health of my zoo- I have 1 dog and 4 rabbits.This tiny girl has incredible strength of character, endurance, patience and on top of all this, a great sense of humor and tact. She sends me photos and videos from clinic if my pets had an operation and stay in clinic without me. She wrote on my rabbit's bandage letter S because our Sam is SuperBun (ny)! ))) We were adopted 4 rabbits from shelter only because we have SH Medivet support.

Having read all these wonderful reviews, I don't know what else to ad as I am truly impressed with Nicola Wong's professionalism. Lucie ans Sheina (nurses) have been wonderful, compassionate and professional as well. To keep my review short, I highly recommend this practice - impeccable and professional service. Having two cats in their 20's I've been to a few practices, but none of them can be compared with Medivet South Harrow.

I am extremely happy with the staff and service at South Harrow Medivet. There has not been one single visit where I wasn't made to feel comfortable. The staff all showed great compassion and care for my pet, and all my worries were acknowledged and addressed. Athena and I are very lucky to have such a great team looking after us.

This is a long review, so my apologies, but I just wanted to make it extremely clear how brilliant this practice is! My 7 year old cat, Archimedes, has been treated at Medivet South Harrow for well over a year now. Every time I visit, all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and bend over backwards to help you however they can. And Nicola Wong is the best veterinary surgeon I have ever come across, no contest. She is unfalteringly cheerful, smiley, and friendly. I got married this year and she was genuinely so interested to hear all about our plans, and when I came back in the next time she straight away remembered that we had said we were getting married and excitedly asked me how it went! She genuinely cares about people (and pets of course). I am fortunate that Archimedes is mostly in excellent health, although there have been a couple of times in the last 12 months I have had to take him in. Firstly, he needed to go under a general anesthetic to have his teeth cleaned, and they took excellent care of him - there were no problems at all. I have been meaning to write a review for a while for this practice but the reason I am making a point of getting around to it today is because Archimedes has just come home from a bronchoscopy and I have been bowled over by how well he has been treated by them. I took him in 2 days ago because he had been sneezing/snorting a few times a day for several weeks. In all other respects he was totally fine but I wanted to get it checked. Nicola said she thought it was probably allergies, but when he sneezed all over her mousepad (sorry Nicola!), she took a sample and had a look in her lab. She invited me back to have a look, and explained what we were seeing through the microscope (it was very interesting!). She explained that the problem was likely one of two things, but we needed to know which, as the treatments were very different. She also told me, in detail, what the diagnostic tests would involved. We booked him in for two days later, and she provided me with an estimate of the costs, as well as giving me a heads up that my insurer may quibble about paying as they may argue it was somehow related to a previous case of asthma. After his tests today, Nicola called me immediately after they had been done and talked me through everything in detail - they'd put the camera up, seen some redness, and taken some samples. Then, for completeness, they had put the camera up through the back of the nose via the mouth - and lo and behold, there was a giant blade of grass wedged in the back of his nose, that would have been the cause of most if not all of the sneezing! She told me she'd removed it, and that he was doing fine, and we arranged a time for me to come pick him up this afternoon. When I came in, she told me all about the procedure and what had happened, even showing me pictures she had taken during the process (the view through the camera, so I could see the redness in his nose), and she also had also kept the grass blade in a little specimen jar so I could see it! I find this stuff really fascinating and so I really appreciate her taking the time and effort to explain everything to me. As well as all this, she told me that the insurance company shouldn't now have any grounds to argue with covering the costs (a stuck blade of grass is clearly not a pre-existing condition!), and that if they quibbled then the practice would argue my case for me! She gave me some antibiotics/painkillers and aftercare instructions for Archimedes, and we booked a followup appointment for two days' time. I was instructed to remove a bandage on his leg an hour later, and when I got home and went to do so I realised that the IV needle had been left in. I called up the practice and Nicola was absolutely brilliant - she apologised profusely and, as I don't have my own transport and live relatively nearby, she arranged to come to my house after she finished work to remove it (yes, really!!!). I can't emphasise enough how excellent this practice is, and especially Nicola. As well as all this, I seem to be able to get an appointment the same day pretty much whenever I call, which is super for someone as disorganised as me! The only problem with Medivet South Harrow is that after today I have realised that my cat gets far better healthcare than I do... Nicola, can you please train as a GP so you can look after me, too?!
