This place is incredible and so much better then any other vets that I have used in the past. They will see your pet straight away and the care we received from them when our elderly cat passed away was amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else even if I moved away!

Top marks all round for this excellent, friendly, compassionate and thoroughly professional team nor the fantastic premises they take such (deserved) pride in. So helpful and laid back, taking the time to talk everything through and explain in detail with you no matter how busy they are. Brilliant with our very vocal, energetic and rather boisterous rescue dog. We were able to stay in a lovely quiet room with him whilst he fell asleep and again on waking when he had surgery which was comforting to us as well, (we hope), as to him. Cannot be faulted. Lovely people

When we had to have our beloved Ruby put to sleep Margaret, John and Hannah could not have shown more kindness, consideration or respect for both us and Ruby. They are the best vets I have ever used and I have had animals all my life so I have known a few.

I have been a client at three other vets in Bridgwater and surrounding area over the years. Most were very good, but this one shines the brightest, outstanding in all areas, Thankyou

Could not ask for a better welcome, the service that John, Margaret and their staff provide is truly amazing, friendly, professional with care and pride which put you and your animals at ease. Could not wish for more. I would highly recommend this practice.

The quality of care and professionalism shown to my three dogs, on every occasion, is beyond outstanding. The staff, led by John, Margaret and Hannah, have just given my Cavalier “Bramble” unbelievable and astonishing intensive care and they welcomed visits not only by me, but also by my daughter with my 19 month old granddaughter, who was allowed to give “Bmble” (as she calls her) some quality time and hugs when we were afraid we would have to say goodbye. However, with their supreme expertise I collected her today, tail wagging, eager to continue with life’s adventures. I am humbled by the quality of care and simply cannot praise and thank them enough. Thank you all, so much.

Thank you to John and his team for the kindness, care and attention they showed our rabbit Wynne over past few weeks. Not only to Wynne but to myself and my partner especially when we had to make decision to put her to sleep. Despite it being a sad time it was a very peaceful and loving ending and I thank you all .

We've been clients of Polden Hills for a few years and have always found them to be wonderful. Recently, we had to make that "final trip" with our Collie Leah who had heart failure. We all agreed her time had come and, after spending a few precious minutes in the lovely gardens, we were taken to a "special" room, designed to give Leah the maximum comfort with us as close as possible. We were left to quietly say our goodbyes with no time pressure whatsoever. Leah was given a sedative for her comfort. We truly felt cared for at such a sad time. Once the peaceful process had run it's course, we said our last loving goodbyes and left, via a special exit (which really helped). All the staff were so very kind and thoughtful and seemed to share our pain. I cannot praise them high enough. I know it's not a subject we really want to talk about but, sadly, most of us will have to deal with it at some point and it's good to know that both you and your pet will be treated with such care, compassion and respect. Nothing was too much trouble. I'm happy to report that our new Collie Poppy is now registered with the practice and the circle of life goes on. Thanks again everybody.
