I have received the most fantastic care from this practice in treating my Koi Carp. Most people would probably think fish are of no consequence, however the fish in question have been with me for over forty years. I live a considerable distance from this practice, well out of their usual area. The practice understood my concern and dispatched Alberto and his colleague to attend to the Koi, what a nice guy, so understanding. Hopefully all will be well, and my Koi will recover. I am most grateful.

We had a grape eating bulldog emergency out of hours!!!!! We phoned Scott’s and within 30 minutes we were in the assessment room. Lawrence the vet was very clear and professional talking me through the procedure and what would happen next. Within an hour they had managed to remove 10 whole grapes from Doris and she was as good as new if not a little shaken. When I went to pick up Doris, Luke the veterinary nurse was very thorough and talked me through the procedure and after care/ medicine. Great service, professional and caring staff.

I took my hamster from Hertfordshire to Scott Vets, because there is no exotic vet around us.... and I did not regret it :D :D :D I told them our story that my lovely hamster broke her limb and that I took her to a vet in Hatfield where I believed the vet knows much about hamsters and I got the news straight (without any deep examination), that my hamster need her leg to be amputated. I was so devastated and I could not believe it, that my hamster did not get X-ray, that I asked for, and the vet just like that decided to amputate her limb without any hesitation. So I decided to look for specialist, because I did not want to give up. ....and I am so glad I did that, as Scott vets are really professional and they handled my hamster without giving any stress to her (she was so relaxed in the vets hand, it was unbelievable). The point of my story is that it seemed to be less chance to save her limb, but after taking X-ray they decided to try to save her leg as I begged for. They were nicely calling me every day to update about my dear Cezy, I was so amazed, they made me feel that my hamster is in a good hand. They ended up saving her leg and now she is a 4 legged happy hamster as was before. Now she can enjoy running around in our house and in her favourite wheel, and left behind all the hard days that she spend without any toys in her cage. Thanks for all the stuff for the hard work in Scott Veterinary in Bedford and hope they can keep on doing excellent work as they did till this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I cannot recommend Scott's vets enough after bad experiences with multiple Vets in the past. My guinea pig Bear had a major life saving operation performed by Pascual who is the most compassionate and caring Vet I have come across. Because all of the staff genuinely care for your animal you can guarantee they will be in the best of hands - I received daily updates from the hospital when Bear was recovering and almost a year later she has done so well and is still here despite us all expecting her not to make it. This is all thanks to Pas and his experience so I cannot thank Pas and the rest of the team enough.

We brought our hamster, Bailey, to Scott’s after being turned away by two other vets who were unable to offer any treatment. The welcome and confident approach from Scott’s was warm and positive from the outset. Bailey was treated as a priority, her illness was efficiently diagnosed and a life saving operation was performed the very next day. We were well informed of the risks of the operation and of the costs involved - which were extremely reasonable. The treatment was a success and was followed by subsequent check up appointments which further shows the caring attitude of the vets and nurses. Three months on we have a very happy little hamster - and even happier owners! Thanks so much to all the staff at Scott’s and a special thanks to our vet, Pas, who put us and our pet at ease from our very first appointment.
