I took my hamster from Hertfordshire to Scott Vets, because there is no exotic vet around us.... and I did not regret it :D :D :D
I told them our story that my lovely hamster broke her limb and that I took her to a vet in Hatfield where I believed the vet knows much about hamsters and I got the news straight (without any deep examination), that my hamster need her leg to be amputated. I was so devastated and I could not believe it, that my hamster did not get X-ray, that I asked for, and the vet just like that decided to amputate her limb without any hesitation.
So I decided to look for specialist, because I did not want to give up.
....and I am so glad I did that, as Scott vets are really professional and they handled my hamster without giving any stress to her (she was so relaxed in the vets hand, it was unbelievable).
The point of my story is that it seemed to be less chance to save her limb, but after taking X-ray they decided to try to save her leg as I begged for.
They were nicely calling me every day to update about my dear Cezy, I was so amazed, they made me feel that my hamster is in a good hand.
They ended up saving her leg and now she is a 4 legged happy hamster as was before. Now she can enjoy running around in our house and in her favourite wheel, and left behind all the hard days that she spend without any toys in her cage.
Thanks for all the stuff for the hard work in Scott Veterinary in Bedford and hope they can keep on doing excellent work as they did till this.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
