I've been going to harts for years now and would never go anywhere else I have a lot of exotic animals and it's nearly impossible to find vets that specialise in exotics harts always have brilliant exotics vets especially Jenny Green their current exotics vet. I also have two dogs who love going to the vets the staff always give them a fuss and lots of attention while we're there. Also the 24hour care has proved invaluable on many occasions all around brilliant practice

Pebble our normally happy, 9 year old excitable small Cocker Spaniel, became very subdued, and over a short space of time it was evident that she was unwell. We took Pebble to Hart Vets at Waddesdon for their expertise. From the outset, we could not have been more reassured that Pebble was in good hands. From the very friendly Receptionist and Nurse on duty, to the excellent care and advice from Vet: Claire and a follow-up visit to Hart Vets at Bicester the following day, where Pebble was seen by another excellent Vet: Esther, to ensure all was well and that Pebble was improving. Thank you to all concerned in Pebble's care....Pebble has made a good recovery after treatment, and is back to her normal self. We would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent Vet Practice......

Although the service we got was very good as ever I am disgusted that we had to pay for consultation and medication considering we have a vet plan. We pay £12.75 per month for this and I would have thought that at least vet fees if not meds would have covered this visit as it says "tailored to help you take the best care of your pets" It seems the pet care plan is a waste of money

Vet Response

Dear John, Thanks for leaving a review. I am sorry if you feel you were not fully informed about what our preventative healthcare plan includes - please call me to discuss further and I will try to help. Our healthcare plans are very popular - we have no joining / leaving / admin fees unlike many practices and our plans allow our clients to save money and spread the cost of their pets' preventative healthcare. Best wishes, Tim Chapman

This was my first visit to a vet! As Dottie was a rescue cat Im guessing it wasnt hers! Staff were friendly and welcoming and dealt with what turned out to be really only a minor issue calmly and efficiently. Explained services on offer without giving us a hard sell which was reassuring. Very happy to have Dottie registered for all her future needs.

Haart vets are fantastic, right from the nurses whom answer the phone efficiently, politely and in a friendly manner to the vets themselves. Staff always seem pleased to see us even when they must have had long days. Really take interest in our pet, giving fuss and chatting to the pet too!! Always prepared to answer questions and spend time explaining and delivering a first class service. We don't live in Waddesdon but we are happy to drive from Winslow to get the service from Haart that the local vet just doesn't offer! Thanks to everyone at Haart x

Our male Bengal cat has heart problems, showing itself as a complete lack of energy, behaving as a shadow of his former vociferous and extremely active and inquisitive self. A thorough examination including an ultrasound scan and blood tests resulted in him being prescribed medication which has given us the cat we knew and loved back. His condition and medication are regularly reviewed with the option of visiting 'cat only' surgery times. Friendly, genuinely compassionate staff. Would recommend Harts without hesitation.

I have used this vets for basic yearly visits but also on two occasions when it was an emergency. Each time they provided a caring service for my dog which made me feel I was doing the best for her. I have met three of the vets and they all have great knowledge and understanding of how to work with dogs. On the last one when she died and the one when my dog had been attacked by another dog it happened to be the same vet. The nurse was excellent but the lady vet was Outstanding with capital O. The value for money was good and everything was quoted up front, no hidden extras. Thank you

This is undoubtedly the best and kindest practice I have ever found. My recent visit was to have my 2 shih tzus spayed, one of whom is a real diva and is prone to screaming a lot. Since the operation she's whingeing a bit but nothing too upsetting for either of us. Two years ago I had to make the saddest decision to have my elderly shih Tzu put out of his misery. I contacted my regular practice in Haddenham and was quoted £450 for the home visit, cremation and boxed remains. I then called Harts in Waddesdon and the quote was less than half. The vet and a nurse attended that day and couldn't have been kinder and more gentle with my beloved Digby, my other dogs sat with us and said their goodbyes and then I was so touched to receive a sympathy card from the practice, still makes me cry now. I can't recommend them highly enough and would not consider changing.
