I have had a number of visits to the vets with my pet cat Gilbert mostly routine for diabetic screening and treatment but on several occasions when he has been acutely ill and in a crisis situation. On at least 2 occasions I have had to phone for emergency consultations and treatment close to closing time and the vets have never hesitated to provide urgent assessment and immediate care and attention for Gilbert despite it being the end of their working day and home time. They have been re assuring and informative throughout and have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their provision of care to both my pet cats and also myself as a concerned owner. There are a few exceptional vets at this practice but it would be unfair to single them out as they work as a team including the nurses, auxiliary and reception staff who are all always equally professional and compassionate in their care and treatment of animals. I highly recommend this Vet Practice and send a big thank you yet again from us (Gilby and Sully) to you Jo and the team. Isobel Macfarlane

I saw a male locum vet who was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and kind with my cat and me. My cat was very frightened and I wasn't much better, but he did all he could to make everything easy. He made a diagnosis and my cat was kept in for further investigations and treatment for an hour, after which I collected her and took her home. The diagnosis proved to be correct and other tests were fine. The vet discussed everything with me. A couple of days later: My cat is well and happy and I am grateful.

Devastating day today Both my 6 year old ferrets were pts. One was terminally ill and the other was suddenly ill today. Seen straight away and TRUE care and compassion shown by everyone there. They could not have done more for me or my pets. Given explanations and all the time I needed. My girls were able to go together to the end. Cannot thank everyone enough. Xxx

Couldn't have wanted anymore from a vets. They showed compassion and a genuine care for my dog who was very sick. They were supportive and made sure I always knew what's costs there would be. Highly recommend the vets 4 pets Chester branch. The receptionist were knowledgeable and helpful and too showed compassion for myself (I was trying to hold it together after having to leave a dog with them for an operation that she may not recover from. Thank god my dog did recover and they all made the horrible time easier to bear.

Sadly I lost both rabbits within a week to Myxomatosis. I can't thank Nicky and her team enough for the care and understanding they gave through a very distressing time. I would recommend this team of professionals to anyone. Thank you.

Can not thank the whole team enough on how they dealt with us on our visit today , We were told to take our dog straight in as her puppy was coming out feet first , When we arrived they dealt with us straight away and kept us informed on what would happen Unfortunately we lost the first pup ,but they rushed her in and gave her a c section ,saving her other pup . The whole team worked together and looked after us as well .

We have always received excellent treatment for all our pets including in emergency situations but recently whe our Border Collie collapsed in the street the response we received was nothing short of amazing They carried him to the surgery kept us informed respectfully and honestly and when the time came to say goodbye to him they couldn't have been more thoughtful respectful and empathic to us and our dog They even sent us a card a couple of days later We can not recommend them highly enough

I've been going to Chester V4P for years and cannot recommend them highly enough. My first cat Jessy had lymphoma which was utterly traumatising but Jo was compassionate and kind throughout the whole process, she gave Jessy the best possible chance at life and I can't thank her enough. My second cat Piper has seen Nicola and Catherine who again are brilliant. Everyone is really friendly and so kind to the animals, and their owners! Now the new vets in Ellesmere Port has opened I'll be going there as it's much closer and less stressful for Piper who hates car rides with a passion! Sad to be leaving the Chester practice but Ellesmere Port staff seem just as lovely. Very impressed overall with Vets4Pets as a brand and would highly recommend them.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jo and her team. Jo has looked after all my sausage dogs for a number of years. When it came to the end of loosing my last two, Jo went above and beyond. She kept one of them overnight which they don't normally do and kept checking up on her and then let me stay with her as long as I needed to the next day to say goodbye. Then about a week later she was equally compassionate when operating on the second one and calling me to explain that the kinder thing to do was let her go. I was devastated at loosing both in a short frame time and Jo and her team were brilliant and very kind to me. Jo now looks after my two new sausages and explains everything so that you really understand what is going on. The practice has grown significantly in the last few years and most of the staff like Kelly and Claire are still there. The whole team is lovely. Thank you.

Our last visit was the visit dog. Owners dread when you have to say good bye to your best friend. Jo was absolutely fantastic and supportive we were given all the time in the world to grieve despite this being well past their closing time. The dignity and respect extended to Bobby even after he was gone was truely heart warming and of great comfort. I can never thank Jo and the team at Chester enough for how they look after all our pets and Jo is an outstanding human being who has worked hard to restore my faith in the profession after some terrible experiences elsewhere. Thank you Jo and all the team you really are the best
