I took my lurcher to see Edd a few weeks back for a 2nd opinion. He was absolutely amazing. He was friendly and very honest. Unfortunately my girl had to be pts as she had cancer but the staff at vets4pets have been brilliant. So kind and caring.I have dealt with lots of vets for my dogs, cats and horses over the years but none of them compare to the vets and staff here.they give first class service and are honest about treatment and what they recommend.it has been a really difficult time for us as a family but just knowing that my girl got the right diagnosis and help that she needed made her last few weeks with us bearable.i can't thank all the staff enough for the support and kindness they have shown us through lady's illness and she passed away with the dignity and respect she deserved.Thanku all.I will be reccomending you to everyone.xxxx

I was very worried about my pug in the early hours of the morning and had already decided previously that I would be leaving his last vets as we both hated going there. I had been told about vets4pets and said I would give them a try. Entering into vets4pets we were welcomed with smiles, and real empathy from the receptionists Carol for me especially stood out really being interested in me and meeko and she helped put me at ease straight away getting us registered and in with an appointment ASAP. She was terrific! We came back later on and saw Ed who I can 100% say was the best vet we have ever seen! And meeko is almost 7 so we’ve seen a few. The whole experience was amazing each vet, nurse and receptionist we saw and spoke too was terrific. I will be telling everyone about how wonderful this morning practice is and I can honestly say it’s a weight off my mind to know that we have finally found a superb practice with outstanding staff. Thankyou so much!

Unfortunately I had to have my lowdie put down recently but I have to say Olivia was an absolute sweetheart with the whole process, constantly reassuring me and guiding me through this tough ordeal, I will remain with this practice as long as I have dogs, their all so caring and very professional, thankyou team for your love and support xx

2 visits with my cat for hyperthyroidism. I was quoted £160 for thyroid and urine test, but charged £245 on pick up. Was quoted £60 for follow up blood test, but was charged £110 which was then dropped to £45 when I questioned the cost. When I asked for a prescription so I could get the medication online for less than half the price, I was told that, as my cat needed a 5mg dose and a 2.5mg dose on a daily basis, I would need 2 prescriptions as they ‘couldnt’ put both doses on the same prescription!! Absolute rip off!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are disappointed to see that you have not been happy with your recent visits to Kidderminster Vets4Pets. We are sorry if there has been confusion over pricing of the various tests. In the first instance, the higher value paid reflected not only the blood and urine tests performed, but also the previous consult fee and the cost for treatment which was discussed prior to collection. In the second instance, the lower value paid reflected the level of blood test which you elected to have performed. A more investigative follow up test was recommended for the reasons previously discussed with yourself, but as a less investigative blood test was chosen, this was reflected in the lower cost. With modern day veterinary medicine, there are numerous useful diagnostic tests, medical and surgical treatment options and monitoring tests that are beneficial to carry out. We aim to advise owners of these options, the pros and cons of these options and the costs involved. We try and tailor these options to best meet the requirements of the individual animal and owners. We are always up front and honest about our charge’s which reflect our running costs and allow on-going investment into the practice which is always moving forwards. We are more than happy to go over the various monitoring tests and costing options with you again as we do realise it can be confusing sometimes when your pet develops a condition which requires careful monitoring. Kind Regards, The Team at Kidderminster Vets4Pets

I find it difficult to entrust anyone with my little four legged family but I'm always confident that they're in safe hands with Ed, Olivia and the team.It doesn't go unnoticed either that they're empathetic towards my needs and worries too.

Ed and Olivia were very caring when we took our very Poorly chocolate Lab Rolo to them but after many tests she sadly had to be put to sleep. Emily the vet nurse was so very good and thank you to the wonderful reception staff. This practice is one of the best I have come accross vets and staff are wonderful and a big thank you for helping me through a very sad period.
