I wasn't happy that the vet took my dog away to dress my dogs foot . This caused my dog to be traumatised not sure why she wasn't able to change her dressing in front of me as I could also have keep my dog feeling safe? Also I am very dissatisfied when th the price I was charge. I have been taking my dog to a vets in Retford as this where she had her accident and the prices there are far cheaper from £15 at retford for dressing change to £42 at vets for pets and the changing of her dressing was performed in he consultation room with me holding my dog thus provide help for the vet and security for my dog. This makes me think that if they are hiding away what have they got to hide?? About the charge I brought my unhappiness to the receptionist and she went and spoke with the vet to then come back to me to "these are our prices" so basically go away there is nothing you can do about it!! The notices in the vets states your pet is part of our family this surely it not to case as vets for pets are obviously out to fleece owners of pets

I am deeply concerned that I booked my dog in for his annual booster which is on a plan over 3 weeks ago he came for it at the weekend and I received a letter today saying he is overdue his annual booster! Also every time he is due his worming and flea treatments I have to chase and your timings are always way off I have lost all confidence in your service. When I last asked about it I was told its a call centre. This isn't really a reason is it?
Vet ResponseDear Ms Covey Commonly when vaccine reminders are sent out in the post, they do cross over with when a client has already taken their pet into the vets for their vaccination. As I can see from your records that the vaccination was given on the 4th of this month and you posted this review today (the 10th), I can be certain that this is the case. Our computer system does not register when someone has booked an appointment, rather it waits until the vaccination has actually been given to take someone off the reminder list. Additionally, the reminders are created on a monthly basis to ensure all clients receive a reminder in good time; which enables vaccinations to be given before they are overdue. Your second point about reminders for parasite treatment being out of sink, is a little more complicated. As you mention, we have already spoken to you about how this service is administered by a third party and is not under our control. We have fed back this issue to the company who will hopefully respond. I can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

I purchased the puppy package with vets 4 Pets and found the following: Appointment 1 (with vet)- checked my puppy said all was fine and gave her an injection and a chip. She was very tiny at this point and she had to take her into the back as she screamed with the injection never mind the chip. No issues after the injection though all was fine. Negative comment here is that I didn't get the Royal Canin food which was advertised I got a MUCH cheaper food and I did not get the pack of Royal Canin vouchers and after paying £80 I expected that much. Appointment 2 (nurse)- This was for the second injection the nurse had to stab her twice with the needle which I was unhappy with and she bled a lot which she hadn't on the previous injections. She weighed her and was pleased. Appointment 3 (nurse)- This nurse was much better! Attentive towards my pet got her to trust her and took her into the back to be held properly by another nurse to administer the third and last injection. The only negative comment here was that my dog couldn't be picked up after the jab because she was so sensitive. In all fairness many may blame the nurse but in all honesty in hind sight I was right not to take her back to the vets because at the end of the day its a jab and it is going to hurt afterwards for a day or two. But she was fine after that. Appointment 4 (nurse)- Got the same nurse as appointment 3 was really pleased! Answered any questions I had and gave friendly and useful advice. Actually took time to hold my pet and get her to trust her even though she was only applying a worming and flea treatment. The worming and Flea treatments here are brilliant and it is well worth investing in the plans if you have the money to do so. Appointment 5 for my last puppy pack covered treatment is coming in a months time and I feel reassured. At some point they did also clip her puppy claws which was a bonus. There are reviews claiming that vets 4 pets is all about charging you. But the best thing to do in all vets is to get a second opinion. The vets won't make you take their advice and every centre has completely different vets who might offer completely different remedies. So shop around but generally I would recommend this vets if anything because the nurses do their job well.

We've been using Vets4Pets Wadsley Bridge for about 4 years for our 2 cats. They've fixed em up good and proper after injury and even routine check-ups are a delight. The veterinary staff are wonderful and although the admin staff aren't very informative about offers (Vac4Life etc.) they are very nice and always show an interest.

Our cat Isis had to see the vets today.She was really well looked after. And the eventual fee was a lot less than it would have been at our old vet. Thanks guys we are very pleased with how we were treated.
