With the problem of the virus we thought we would have a problem with the vet seeing our deaf dog Daisy,we could not go into the surgery which worried us as due to Daisy being deaf she can panic. This did not happen as we made the nurse aware on arrival, after having her problems sorted one little dog came out with a wagging tail & things explained of what had been done.So other than you can't go in it's business as usual,I've given five stars on everything due to a happy dog is a happy owner.I have recommended Gavins practice to all my friends as it's hard to find a vet that puts the animal first as a lot of surgeries are profit first .I highly recommend this vets

I live in Chelmsford and was re-united with my Cat after the Vets called and said that they had him. They really took good care of him whilst he was in their care and made a huge fuss of him. It's so important to get your animals "chipped" as we are so pleased to be re-united with our fur-baby x

My Suzie socks is a rescue cat. After 2 months of bringing her home from the cattery, we found out that she was in heat (yet she was spayed by previous owners). We were really concerned and took her to the out of hours surgery where they said she damaged her back and had to pay £77 for a pain killer injection that we felt she did not need. Not happy with this diagnosis we took her to our Vets the next morning. Gav confirmed she was in Heat and will explore further (awaiting operation). All the staff at this surgery are kind, sweet and well just plain brilliant. Thank you soo much x

We have 2 staffies our little one struggles with allergies. Gav did not stop until he found a drug that helped keep his issues under control. When ever he has a flare up Gav helps us get it back under control. Our other dog had a lump removed last year thank fully it was fine and the operation went well the scar is tiny and gives no issues. I would recommend this vet to anyone. Great staff and a great atmosphere!

We moved to Vets4Pets Southend last year after a bad experience with another vet practice. Our GSD had previously been diagnosed with arthritis in both of her hips and told there was nothing that could be done. Gavin examined her and said that she was suitable for futher treatment. Thanks to Gavin it was discovered that our GSD didn't have bad hips but had an extra vertebrae restricting her nerve. She has now had an operation and is pain free for the first time in years. We really can't thank Gavin and his team enough. All 3 of our dogs are under Vets4Pets and actually enjoy going to the vets now!! All the staff are so friendly, the dogs love them!
