Hi, I was wondering what the best position to hold your cat in when you try and cut their claws?

I find that while it’s more convenient for us to have them lying on their back or their side, very few cats will tolerate that. Lying on their tummy either on a table or (if you’re brave enough!) along one leg (a thick towel can help) helps them feel more comfortable and secure, but still gives you easy and calm access to their feet and claws as you can gently trim the tips.

Thanks so much for the advice David. I'll give it a try
