Hi there, we’ve recently moved property for some more space for us and our baby to run around. However around a day before we moved he started getting super itchy. We’ve been monitoring him daily however have now started to notice his skin looks a bit iffy. We moved a week ago and for a while I was concerned about him being stressed etc. (He also currently has a small ear infection bless him) so have just decided to take it slow and continue with his doggy amoxicillin. Typically my partner has Covid so we’re unable to take our boy to the vet for at least another week. (We have booked an app for two weeks time pending a negative test) however wondering if anybody knows what this is and if there’s anything I can do to calm him and help? I’m guessing it may be mange. But I honestly have no idea. Any help would be so gratefully appreciated ❤️ his skin is greyish, scabby (like chunks) he’s listing bits of hair and keeps itching x

That really doesn't sound good does it! A parasite infestation - like mange - is definitely possible. However, I'd strongly advise talking to your vet about it even if it is before you can take him to be seen: many vets now offer video consults for this sort of situation. Even if that isn't a possibility, emailing some photos over could really help. Most parasites that cause this sort of problem can easily be treated with prescription medication, and I would advise trying to get on top of it sooner rather than later... especially as mange, for example, is contagious to humans. Good luck!
