Hello!   I'm sorry to hear about your airedale with pancreatitis.  It's a frustrating disease and painful; sometimes dogs need to be hospitalized for fluids if they become dehydrated and sometimes stronger pain relief, such as Opiates.  If five days have gone by and you are still concerned, it sounds as though a recheck may be becoming overdue.

You may be able to be seen as an emergency.  Most vets also address diet at this time, in order to reduce the quantities of fat that the pancreas is having to cope with.

Thank you for your reply Abe’s drinking water it seems when he’s had a very small amount of fish & rice he starts to pant then pacing around  I know he’s in pain. He’s completely all his medication but still in pain He has another appointment tomorrow with vet

Hi Liz , Abe has finally shown signs of improvement, 🙏🏼He’s now off all medication apart from pain medication. Abe’s experienced such a difficult time with chronic pancreatitis and now I know the signs I’ll make sure he never has to again  I’m so thankful for vethelpdirect advice also for your concern Liz Thank you all from Me & Abe 🐶💙🙏🏼❤️
