Hello! I see that it has been a few days since you first posted this; how did you get on? If the patient is still vomiting then we strongly advise an examination as electrolyte imbalance and dehydration may be setting in and most small 'dietary indiscretions' should be resolved by now. Usually, feeding something very bland (as you did) for regular, very small meals is an ideal thing to do for up to 24 hours so long as the pet is well and lively in themselves and does not continue to lose fluid (i.e. vomit). If the problem continues or the animal's condition deteriorates, then a vet check is recommended. However, all vets have slightly different ideas about this and your own vets will get to know your dog (if it's a small puppy for example, or a foreign body was likely, they may have wanted to see you immediately) so we strongly advise talking the decision of whether to see your vet through with them first.
