Hello! I'm afraid we are a UK-based site - if this is Clarkson, Canada, our Find a Vet section may not yet cover it I'm afraid. I wonder whether local websites will help?
In the UK, if registering with a second vet, it is generally good manners to let your first vet know what you are doing. It will be useful information to them but also means that they will release the clinical notes for the second vet, which can be crucial in order that information (allergies, pre-existing conditions etc.) is not missed. It would be seen as good practice to conduct another first examination in order that the second surgeon understands what is needed before they agree to operate.
