Hi, my friend's dog is in the later stages of kidney failure, and they've been improving her quality of life via a feeding tube. They've been using a specific syringe that's perfect for her, but we've not been able to find a replacement for it anywhere.
It's a 35mL, luer slip tip/regular tip with an o-ring. We keep finding syringes that are two out of these three things. Can anyone help? They can probably work with one that's bigger than 35mL if its a slip tip/regular tip with an o-ring, but I haven't found any.
Hello! I'm sorry to hear about your dog's illness;. It must be hard for you both at the moment. I don't recognise this I'm afraid. A couple of questions; a) which country are you in and b) where did you get the first syringe from?
Taking your syringe into different vets and asking older vets and in particular locums (who work at different places) may be helpful.
There is a brand of non steroidal anti inflammatory called Metacam that came with very specific small syringes although I don't remember 35ml ones - it may be worth Googling some pictures in case that's it.
