Hello! I'm interested by the words 'gross lesions???' I wondered whether you could provide a bit of background or context here - are you a vet yourself? Usually people talk about gross lesions when they are dissecting a patient, in which case I would be better to direct you to a forum for vets (this is a forum for owners) for the advice of a pathologist.
From an everyday clinical point of view, I would expect to see bleeding from the guts in Parvo cases. One might also look for bleeding from thymus or lymph nodes, in younger patients. The spleen also contains lymphoid tissue so I wouldn't rule this out completely, but haven't seen it documented anywhere or noticed it on a Parvo patient of my own.
Does that help?
