Good day! My cat has been having earmites 5 months ago then a vet prescribed him a 3x spot on treatment 3 weeks apart and it helped. Lately my cat started to act suspiciously again. Could You please take a look at this photo? Are they back or am I paranoid?Screenshot_20211024-185913_Gallery

Hello!  I'm afraid that I can't confirm or deny the presence of ear-mites from a photo.  It is worth noting that ear mites sometimes cause inflamed ears but sometimes, inflamed or sore ears may lead to an increase in ear mites (most cats will have one or two harmless ear mites, but these may proliferate when the internal ear-climate changes).  The presence of an inflamed ear and ear-mites together may therefore raise a chicken and egg question. Your vet can help.  If ear mites were seen, you and your vet might make a plan from here for diagnosis (ie to understand what is happening better in this particular ear and treat the underlying cause), or may elect to treat the symptoms.  Ear diseases of many kinds are chronic, so recurrence is not unusual. I hope that this helps.

Thank you very much for the answer. I still got meds against earmites and I thought it might be diagnosed from a photo. I will take him back to the vet and we will see. Thanks again!
