tplo vet

hello! does anyone know a clinic that specializes in tplo surgery? we went to our local vet yesterday and they recommend to have our dog a leg surgery because it has ruptured ligament on left knee. i found online https://tplocity.com/. Do you guys know where specifically is their clinic located? thanks!

Hi - what country are you in?  Usually in Britain, when a first opinion vet decide that a dog needs a TPLO, they will know a good referral clinic that they recommend and will make a referral.  The referral vet will then revisit the notes, decide for themselves what surgery is appropriate and go ahead.  Some vets have an in house orthopaedic surgeon and do this for themselves.   Your vet is definitely the best person to tell you about the referral practices locally and what will best suit your budget and dog.
