My dog has been getting these bumps on and off for 1-2 years. They have recently become worse and more frequent. She licks the ones on her legs occasionally. No toileting changes, no dietary changes, we tried only washing her with plain water (no shampoo) and it didn’t help. The bumps look like they might have fluid in them? But I’m not 100% sure.
Hi - yes this could be something called urticaria, which is an allergic reaction. People often call it 'hives.' It is often triggered by something we don't even notice in the environment eg moulds, spores, insects etc. It does often go down on its own but in rare cases can occur in nasty places and prove life threatening, or be cause bad irritation.. Definitely speak to your vets about it - they may reccommend an antihistamine for example
