However, I’ve just noticed that she has a breakout of little lumps on her inner leg, they feel a little sticky and soft. I am taking her to the vet but the nearest appointment is over a week away, and I’m worried about her. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks Vicki

Hello!  I have occasionally heard skin described as having a 'cobblestone' appearance.  Is this being heavily / frequently licked / licked sore?  Vets are extremely busy at the moment but if so, the lesion might merit phone triage (ie checking priority order over the phone) because if it is being heavily licked, it may look much worse in a few days. It is extremely difficult to diagnose skin lesions at first sight - even for vets who are in the room with the animal.  I have a long list of possible suggestions for this, ranging from plasticine to flea allergy or other strange reactions, right through to autoimmune disease or cutaneous lymphoma.  Your vet may well need to make an educated guess for a starting place for treatment, and may even want to biopsy the lesion before offering a diagnosis. Wishing you and she the best of luck - please do let us know what happens.
