Hi I just need some reassurance please Buster gets a slightly damp nose however he is still eating hay like its going out of fashion, he's not sneezing, he's not drooling, there's no wetness anywhere else including his front paws, his eyes are clear and bright, amd not leaking, he isn't showing signs of pain etc his poops are all good and normal he literally only has a slightly damp nose, is this something I should be overly worried about or could this just be a reaction to the fact that he likes to sleep under the bed where its a bit dusty and it's been hot and humid here so I've had the fan and Aircon on

Hello - a runny nose could certainly be to do with particulate matter in the air eg dust or spores from hay.  It could also be connected with infectious disease such as bacterial or viral infections, upper respiratory tract disease or dental disease (rabbits go on eating regardless), polyps, even abscesses or cancers.  In a rabbit - they have very delicate respiratory equipment - any of these should be taken seriously and we would suggest running this by a local rabbit friendly vet.

So I saw the vet nurses yesterday where they did his nails and his nose was dry for most of yesterday and they gave him a quick once over and they seem to think it's a combination of the heat and the dust flying around from the fan etc they just said to make sure his behaviour doesn't change and that he is still eating normally which he is and buckets of hay

Once again, we would advise a vet check up for wet around the nose and mouth, especially if it continues to happen.  You could always call the nurse when there is discharge to see or photograph it, and have them triage your bunny again.

We saw a vet today teeth are perfect etc they say it's just due to the heat and the increased dust in the air fron having the fan etc on and the fact that he likes to snooze under the bed where its dusty
