Hello!
I'm afraid that it's difficult for me to tell from here. Dogs' testicles do have a lump on them; it's called the epididimis and it's the head of the tube taking sperm down through the penis. Is it the same on both sides? It is common for testicular cancer not to involve redness or pain, but it is also common for it to prefer dogs over the age of seven. That said, not every dog does what is common, so when we're talking about one individual, the trend is not a fixed rule. We would thoroughly advise a check with your vet as soon as possible, hopefully just to put your mind at rest but also in case the castration needs to be brought forward.
