Hello -  Vets are without exception scientists, and scientists work on the basis of only believing things that they can prove.  You will appreciate that I don't have the facts to make many definite statements here;  some types of dewormers, for example, can be given to young dogs every day under certain circumstances.  For others wormers, this would be far too much.  What I can say, however, is that a vomiting dog with loose poo may be loosing too much fluid and so this case ought to be assessed by a vet.  Do be honest with them about what wormers the pup has had, because some wormers in some circumstances, can explain the diarrhoea while in other cases, they might be completely ineffective and the most likely cause of the diarrhoea may be dietary indiscretion or even ongoing worms!   Usually, when faced with a pup with diarrhoea, a vet will aim to assess and address their hydration status (to prevent them from getting dehydrated), to reduce the severity of the symptoms if possible and in some cases, set the ball rolling as to finding out the cause.  I looking forward to hearing how you get on.
