Hello - that's a very good question - I wonder if you're right; it's not something I've heard of. However, there are many reasons for not coming into season. Sometimes first 'seasons' are silent - i.e. extremely hard to spot. Some females are simply late starters. But season can also be delayed by a multitude of abnormalities, and we don't know which of these broad groups of possibility this particular patient lies in. So, it might be as well to let the vet check her out and decide what to do from here.
