Swollen eye

Hi, my dog woke up with a swollen eye. So long to get a Veterinaire appointment around here. By looking at the picture, Is it an emergency? What should we do? He doesn’t seems to have pain. Thank you 🙏

Hello!  I wonder if that might be episcleritis.  However, one of the main differential diagnoses for episcleritis may be glaucoma, which is an emergency.  I would therefore recommend calling your emergency vets for triage - they will ask you a few questions and maybe you could send them this picture - and taking it from there.

NB:  differential diagnosis = vet-code for, 'another thing those symptoms could be'

Did you find out what this was? I just noticed the same thing in my dog.
