Hii! I have a 1 year old cat and recently she started twitching in her sleep. She used to do that when shes dreaming and it would last a little and maybe her paws would move too. But now as soon as she falls asleep she starts to get this spasms. When shes awake theres no symptom of anything, she sometimes cough but like once a week.   I feel she doesnt breathe right when this spasms happen and maybe thats the reason. But as soon as i wake her up she starts breathing normally.   Sorry for my bad english, hope theres nothing wrong with my kitty!

Hello!  Me too, but I think it would be a good idea to get the sleep-twitching checked out with your vet.  If you as to be triaged at the time of making the appointment, the vet may sometimes be able to see you faster if they have any concerns.   Furthermore, if there's a wait, keep a diary of the times it happens- the coughing, too.  This can sometimes be helpful.
