We think she has a broken leg . We can’t afford $2-3000 for vet. We have been wanting to put her down before this happened. Don’t want her to be in pain and is not know. It’s incredibly heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹. How are we supposed to put her down or are there any options besides all those care credit things that we don’t qualify for? Could we put leg in a splint and hope it heals?

Hello- and I am so sorry that you are going through this.  However, help may be at hand so please call your vet.  I live in the UK - here, no vet would refuse to put a suffering animal to sleep for lack of money.  The established form is that a vet will euthanase them humanely and postpone or even waive payment.  If they think that the animal could be treated and rehomed, they might ask to take this on also, if a local rescue centre has arranged to pay.  I don't know what is done in the States, but please do call multiple local practices and ask them.  If this is not the established form, then they will be able to talk you through whatever options are available.  Most vets aim to promote animal wealfare before anything else and not leaving an animal with an untreated fractured leg is the priority right now.  Wishing you both all the best from here.
