Our cat, who is a stray we took in, has a bald spot on her chest and it has some red marks on it too. is this something we should worry about? Or is it “normal”? Thank you

Hello - it is not normal for cats to have bald spots on their chests.   You do not mention how long you've had this cat or where they might have strayed from, but we always reccommend scanning strays for a microchip in case someone is looking for them.   Causes of bald spots cat range from demodex to fleas to ringworm to lymphoma to scarring to fight wounds and should therefore always be checked out.
