I would just like to express my thanks and gratitude to your veterinary nurse Charlotte Archer. We had a traumatic visit this morning when my cat Oscar escaped from his cat carrier in the car park on the way to our appointment. Charlotte took control of the situation in a calm, proffesional and reassuring manner (I on the other hand was kind of hysterical). She managed to catch Oscar before he came to any harm and took him in to the vets for me. She went above her call of duty and I would like to say a big thank you to you from the whole family!

I took an appointment for my dog. She is an old pooch and recently she has been lethargic and had difficulty to stand up. She also have a skin allergy. I explain to the vet that she had a skin problem but also that lethargy problem. The day of the appointment my dog was a bit more energetic but still not herself. The vet barely touch my dog. She prescribe a very expansive antibiotic for her skin problem. After that she told me that she couldn't see anything wrong other than the skin problem. The vet never checked her teeth, her ears, her articularions even after I told the vet that I suspect my pooch of having a bit of arthritis. I payed £100 for nothing because now my dog is really bad, her neck is really swollen and stiff and she can't walk at all. She is obviously suffering a lot! At two or three days ago just after my appointment, my friend told me that I shouldn't be worried for my dog and insist on the fact that a vet would never miss something that big... Well apparently it is possible. It is a bank holiday weekend so an appointment with a vet now will be an emergency appointment. I hope that it is not too late to cure my dog from whatever she is suffering from.

We are very sorry to hear that you feel this way and that your dog is still not well. We would generally recommend a follow up appointment to see the response to treatment anyway but would be more than happy to see you sooner if further symptoms develop and you feel things are not progressing as you would like. We can assure you we are open for routine appointments over the bank holiday. Please contact us at the surgery to discuss your concerns further and to arrange for us to see your dog again. Thank you.

I would just like to extend my thanks to Mario and the rest of your team. Recently, Mario has treated both of our dogs. Bronte was treated as an emergency case after slicing her artery during a walk and Amber was treated for the removal of a lump on her front leg. On every occasion, Mario and the team have been outstanding in their care. Bronte was obviously bleeding heavily and in shock and was treated with speed and exceptional care. Amber is naturally timid and was handled gently and carefully on every occasion that she attended the clinic. I am very grateful for the excellent care that they have both received and I would appreciate it if you pass on my thanks to all concerned. Thank you again

We took our cat belle to be spayed and the surgeon was so thorough when explaining the procedure and aftercare. Our belle was so well looked after and loved whilst in their care. We can not fault the practice in any way. We also thought how lovely of them it was to give us a call the next day to check on belles progress. Thanks so much to you all!

1 week ago rabbit spayed- excellent care and follow up. Another rabbit with a "sewing needle" stuck in its mouth (House rabbit that eats anything) - I knew something was wrong, took him on Sunday afternoon to Derby Kingsway Vets- immediately identified the problem and operated there and then! Rabbit left surgery after half an hour and is absolutely fine. Excellent vets, friendly and very professional. Superb - I would recommend this surgery especially for rabbits! Charlie

I would just like to say how much the staff at the Kingsway surgery impressed me. From the minute I arrived I was made welcome and the receptionist was so good to me. I was in a panic as my cat was seriously ill. And Charlotte the vet went out of her way for me and even offered to transport my cat to the referral hospital so she could make sure he was comfortable! This after a long day at work for her. I will never be able to thank the staff for all the did for my Jinx Thanks a million! Pauline xxx
