Medivet have always been our preferred vet. Two years ago our cat Muffin suffered with various problems. The Medivet team saved his life and two years later although still not 1005 is still with us. Without Medivet he would not be with us today.

My cat Rosie is twelve years old and a Tortie, so a little grumpy to examine, she has been suffering for almost her entire life with regular bouts of vomiting. This has been checked by numerous different vets over the years with many many tests but to no avail. Lauren the Head Nurse at SWF suggested I take her in to see Daniel. Daniel could not have been more gentle with Rosie and for the first time ever, Rosie did not take too much flesh and blood from the vet!!!! Seriously, Daniel checked bloods and suggested several other treatments, but once the bloods had returned later that day, she rang to say that she did not feel at this time the additional (and expensive) tests were needed just yet as she thought we should first try a more simple approach and if that failed then go ahead with the other tests. To our relief, she has responded well and will now require a 'top' up injection every 8 weeks along with some oral medicine. So thank you all for firstly helping Rosie not be sick for the first time in many many years and secondly to have tried a less intrusive treatment first before looking at expensive tests. So nice to see a vets that really does put the animals first!! Thank you all. p.s. the new refurbish is great, so light and welcoming, as are the staff!

I bought two kittens and was told they were 8 weeks old but when I took them to the vet she said they were more like 5 or 6 weeks. They had loads of fleas and were not well but I couldn't face taking them back. The vets have been so nice and got my kittens healthy again. The nurses recommended a good food and now they are doing really well. Would definitely recommened this vets, they really care about your pets.

New to this vets but they're really nice. I wasn't sure about using a 'bid brand' but the people were lovely and my dog is happy so I am happy.

My two cats do not enjoy going to the vets but each time we go to Woodham halt we are greeted by smiley faces and happy people. The staff are all lovely and always make a mega fuss of our cats. The nurses in particular always make the effort to make us and the cats feel welcome and relaxed. They even have a cat waiting area now so any scared animals can hide away from the hustle and bustle. I have already recommended them to all my friends and would urge you to go and meet them soon.

I have been going to the South Woodham branch of Medivet for over 20 years. I must admit when the previous owner of Woodham Halt sold his practice to Medivet I was both apprehensive and worried. However, I can honestly say that every vet, nurse and staff have been fantastic. They have helped all my lovely cats through some serious times and also very difficult times for me. Saying goodbye to a loving member of the family is so hard but all the staff there show endless amounts of empathy. Should I become ill I would want them to take care of me rather than an NHS hospital!!! If you are looking for a new vet to care for your precious pet then look no further. Contact South Woodham Ferrers today. You will not regret it.

The medical care of our Golden Retriever, Morgan, has been safely in the hands of the team at Medivet South Woodham Ferrers. Both under the previous vet, Aidan Borrril, and now Ms Mitchell, augmented by the team at Southend as necessary, they have provided a level of care and support that few doctors surgeries ever get close to. Any owner who entrusts their pets health care to this team can be assured they have done the best they can for them.-\'
