Hi I recently visited you with my dog Charley on 19/11/18 with itchy skin which turned out to be fleas! Charley had no skin infection but it cost me £130 £66 was spent on Advocate and nearly £8.00 on a buster collar which doesn’t fit! I’ve recently found out that I could have legally asked for a prescription to buy Advocate online for a third of the price! It is supposed to be shown in all vets. The vet we saw was lovely but you need to think about families on low budgets who care about their pets and not profits!

Vet Response

We were sorry to read that you were dissatisfied with the cost of your treatment for Charley. Our written prescription costs are, and always have been, displayed in our waiting area, but we have written to you directly in order to address your overall concerns in more detail

Every time I visit Vets4Pets Cheadle, I find that the staff are incredibly helpful, friendly & compassionate doing their best to get me the earliest available appointment for my pets to be seen by the Vet. Once seen by the Vet, the treatment prescribed has always been the fastest route to recovery for them ensuring that my cats return to their normal happy, healthy selves as quickly as possible.

What a relief to have a vets that you can have confidence in. When the extra family member is poorly, you need to know they'll do there best to help. When we got our rescue dog, they were so helpful with lots of valuable advice. On the occasion he was really poorly, they were all so kind, reassuring& looked after him so well. From the reception staff, nurses & vets - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

Having an older collie I was very worried when she became ill. From the first point of contact I was made to feel at ease. The receptionist was very helpful and I managed to get an appointment that day. The vet I saw was brilliant, she reassured me and and explained things in a way that I understood what the issue was. I was given some medication and it's been a week now and my collie is back to her old self. The staff were very friendly , professional, helpful and the practice is nice and clean. I have recommended this practice already and I will continue to do so.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Vets for Pets in Cheadle Heath. They are diligent, thorough, caring and treat the animals with the utmost compassion. They've never failed to call me back when they've promised to do so and they provide you with all the necessary information in order to make an informed decision about your pets' treatment. The surgery is spotlessly clean and the non-veterinary staff are very knowledgeable and professional. My dog has a long-term condition that needs lifetime medication and they have been nothing short of incredible, working together with our family to source the best route of care for him and are fastidious about his ongoing monitoring and treatment. I can't fault them.
