Hello and I'm sorry to hear that your dog is having a problem with her belly. You are right in that borborygmi (thats the posh medical term for it) is a sign of pancreatitis. This is frequently accompanied by other signs; abdominal pain, cramping, nausea etc but sometimes any other signs can be completely masked by the patient and the gurgly stomach alone is noticable. In this case, refusing food could be a sign of nausea, which would fit with pancreatitis. There are also other explanations; swallowing a lot of air when eating and consuming gas-producing bacteria and foodstuffs, for example. Swallowing abnormalities have also been implicated. We would reccommend seeing your vet.
