Hello - and here's a huge hug. You must have been through an extremely hard time and I cannot patronize you by telling you that a 15 year old terrier isn't going to die - although I have seen small terriers reach nineteen or twenty, so the imminence of this is by no means a foregone conclusion. I can't tell much from the pictures as I seem to see a scab-like lesion and a small lump, neither of which I can identify with reasonable confidence from here. They sound as though they might be something as simple as flea bites, but there are also less simple explanations including allergy and cancer. I would say that it's worth the vet- check to have this checked out as, depending on the findings, a plan for diagnosis may be put into place that might prove useful to yourself and to your dog. Wishing you both all the best.
