Black spot on dogs penis

Hi Vets! I've discovered a black spot on my 11 month old Malchi's penis. It is scab like. He isn't having any symptoms of pain or going to the bathroom that I've noticed. I'm wondering if this can wait until his 12 month check up or should he been seen asap? Thank you for your time! 

Hello!  You don't state when the twelve month check up is, but the black spot here isn't clear enough for diagnosis and in any case, we don't offer this service online. So what can you do? The best thing for you to do would be to call your vet or their emergency equivalent if relevant, and describe what you have seen over the phone.  The vet will then help you to prioritise the problem in terms of when you need to be seen.
