Can rats be house trained

I bought some rats from pets at home a few weeks ago, they are lovely and starting to take food from my hands. Is it ok to let them out in the house now?

Personally, that wouldn't be my suggestion - rats are curious creatures and love to explore, so I'd be worried that they might wander and potentially get into trouble (neighbouring cats, wild rats etc). If you want to let them run through the house, you need to be INCREDIBLY careful to make sure the whole house is rat-proofed so they can't escape!
