Hi, if a cat has a problem in the inner ear can is effect his nose and cause respitory inflmation?

Hello!   There is a thin tube, or passage, running between the throat and the inner ear (and of course, the nose is linked to the throat) so diseases associating the two definitely happen.  For example, there are benign lumps known as polyps which can sometimes grow to occupy this tube.  However, not every concurrent incidence of inner-ear disease and respiratory disease can be said to be linked, so if you want to apply this to a specific animal or case, you should ask the vet specifically about that case.
