Hi, I have taken my kitten to 2 different vets and both vets I saw did not have a clue what is wrong with my kittens eyes, they have gotten worse over time and now one is fully white.   Both vets have had to speak to a 'specialist' and came back to me with the same thing, persistent pupillary membrane and its a birth defect not to worry about?         I'm asking here to get a 3rd opinion as I'm very worried about her.         Thank you20231111_19484220231111_194854

Hello - I'm afraid that I have not looked at this picture, because I am in no position to give a third opinion on your cats' eye after two separate opthalmological vets have given an opinion by the official route.  They are in a much better position than me to examine the eye and answer questions about it; it begs the question that if two specialists via two different primary vets concur, there must still be some doubt in your own head that makes you seek a third opinion?  What is this?  Has the eye changed since it was last seen?  Has it not behaved as they expected?  Is it causing your kitten some problem?  Were the opinions definitely from opthalmological vets?  Is it that you've Googled it and the picture looks different from what you are seeing?  I beleive that if any of these are the case, the correct procedure would be to return to your vet, explain your doubts and make a plan together. Eyes often turn out to be emergecies so if something is definitely changing and you do not have a vets' (with responsibility for the case) assurance that it is ok, we would reccommend an urgent resee to be safe.
