Hello vets, My cat's jaw keeps twitching and flapping open and closed. He's still eating but slower than usual. I don't know if he's in pain but he has vomited once last night.

I hear that you know when there is something not right with your cat.  Opening and closing a jaw could be because it hurts - dental pain or bone pain perhaps, or a dislocated jaw, or something caught in a tooth.   It could also conceivably be down to muscle weakness - caused by Potassium imbalance, perhaps - or loss of neurological (nerve) control.   There are some much more benign possibilities too - an epulis (gum lump) in a bad place.   In any event, it sounds as though a vet needs to see this.   Perhaps you could call and ask them to triage, to sort out how soon your cat needs to be seen.

(I didn't mention fitting.  Cats can also get 'partial seizures' which can sometimes involve movements like this.   There is such a big range of possibilities here - good luck and please do let us know how you get on).

It's concerning to hear about your cat's unusual behavior, such as repeatedly opening and closing its jaw. This could indicate various underlying issues, ranging from dental pain, bone pain, or a dislocated jaw to muscle weakness or neurological problems. While there are some less serious possibilities like a gum lump, it's crucial to have a veterinarian examine your cat to determine the exact cause and provide appropriate treatment. I would recommend contacting your vet to discuss the symptoms and seek their advice on the urgency of the situation. They can help triage and decide how soon your cat should be seen for further evaluation and care.

A Declining Balance Depreciation Calculator computes the depreciation expense of an asset using a method where the depreciation amount decreases over time. It factors in parameters such as the initial cost, salvage value, useful life, and depreciation rate to calculate the depreciation expense incurred each period. This tool aids in financial accounting by providing insights into the decreasing value of assets over time, particularly useful for assets that lose value more rapidly in their earlier years. https://calculatoruniverse.com/declining-balance-depreciation-calculator/
