My cat 1 year 19 month old, was diagnosed with HCM / heart murmur and put on Clopidogrel for blood clots. Since he’s been on it he’s lost appetite, vomits quite often and/ or has diarrohea and sleeps all the time. I also feel like his body temperature is warner to the touch than usual (maybe just me but I do feel that). Do I continue with Clopidogrel, is that something that he will get used to and tolerate better? Or do I stop and risk blood clots at some point in future but he would be fine until then. Currently all he does is sleep. He used to have a big appetite, be energetic, performing tricks for treats. He’s been taking Clopidogrel daily for 2 weeks and since then he’s a shadow of himself. Are there other medicine options for blood clots?

Hello!  I am in no position to know better than your vet, who has met and diagnosed the patient, what to do here.  At this point I feel that you should go back to your vet in order to pinpoint the cause of the problems.  You might want to call them over the phone for triage as some of the signs sound quite serious and they might want to see you sooner rather than later.

Vomiting cats for example are often dehydrated.
