My cat has been prescribed Clopidogrel by our vet. She will have to be on this long term and I wanted to get a prescription for it so I can get it online. Her dosage is 18.75mg but the human tablets are 75mg. Can I just split the tablets into 4 or will that make the pills not as effective?

Hi - boring answer to this one I'm afraid - you really do need to check with your vet.  The problem is that some drugs are protected with a special coating to stop them being absorped or damaged in the wrong place.  For example, stomachs are full of Hydrochloric acid which will damage a drug passing thrpugh, so anything that is designed to be absorbed in the small intestine needs a special coating, and this effect is lost if the pill is broken.   Your vet should be able to advise you for your cats' specific pills.
