My 2 year old cavapoo has been constipated for 2 days . Keeps stooping and straining but no results. Have changed from usual kibble to wet food as more water in hope will help. Given veg any other ideas She is happy and not in pain. Eating and exercising no problem.  When should I be looking for professional help.

Hello!  Calling your vet now is a good idea, if only so that the vets can carry out an assessment process known as triage and help you to understand when the patient needs to be seen, specific to her presentation.  You don't say why you think she is constipated but remember that constipation can be a sign of other underlying difficulties and also that sometimes other diseases can present like constipation, for instance cystitis or anal gland problems; triage might help to rule sone of these out.  Giving plenty of water can be important.  Please do let us know how you get on.
