Hi, my 8 year old spaniel has been on Epiphen, Levitceteram and Libromide for the last two years to control his cluster seizures. This has been extremely succesful, and we are seizure free for over a year now. However my vet is now insisting on seeing the dog every 6 months to review his Epiphen intake due to a 'change in legislation' regarding its prescription. They tried similar earlier in the year, but we agreed a yearly check, as we felt taking bloods etc that regularly was excessive (my dog does not react well to anaesthesia). This latest attempt to renege on that, they say, is due to this change of legislation. Please could anyone shed any light on this?
