Hi I have a small cross mix terrier 19 years old. rescued as a pup absolutely full of life never leaves my side except she suffering from arthritis in her spine and her tailbone area she has been receiving librela since November my problem is exactly to within a day or two on the 3 week mark librela wears off and I have to bring for next injection asked vet can the dosage be increased she replied no. Zoey weighs 7.5kg what r danger's of upping dosage or why wouldn't she everybody seems to get 4-6 weeks between injections 100 Euro every 3 weeks is tough as i am on sick leave. Also it's shocking the difference when librela wears off she moans and groans really loud after any excersize even though she is limited to only on lead mini walks

Hello.  Yes - it sounds as though you need to go back to your vets about this.  If they are not sure, they should check the regulations in the formulary as well as verbally with their local Librella rep.  My understanding from speaking to a range of vets across social media (as this isnt a drug that I am currently prescribing) is that if dogs fall short between doses, then it may be possible to top them up with low-dose Ketamine or certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, for example, as well as chronically maximising nutraceuticals and encouraging weight loss (only where appropriate).  This is an effect called multimodal pain relief; using different methods and classes of drugs, which work in different ways, for maximal pain relieving effect.  However, your vet would be the one doing the prescribing and they know this particular patient and have a good understanding of what might and might not work.  Therefore, they should be the ones to research suitable drugs and / or lifestyle changes with you.  I hope that something here helps.
