Hello! It appears that this dog is weight-bearing differently. There are two possibilities for this: one is anatomical difference, eg some puppies are born with or develop feet that turn out or in. This can cause unnatural weight-bearing, which can lead to abnormally shaped nails or arthritis later. The other possibility is that it is pain, rather than the shape of the foot, which causes an unnatural stance. This can come about eg as a result of injury or hidden arthritis. It can appear to be a 'chicken or egg' situation an abnormal stance or body shape does influence weight-bearing and weight bearing can cause an unusual stance. This dog needs to be assessed properly and in context by someone who can watch them trot and walk and knows their age, condition and can ask you a million questions to determine the history and whether hidden pain (which is incredibly common) may be present.
All the best to both of you and please let me know how you get on.
