Hi there,
Around 4 weeks ago my 8 year old French Bulldog quite suddenly seemed to totally out of sorts. We got her checked at the vets as previous surgery for IVDD twice, most recently around 8 months ago. Vets did not think it was her back causing issues so gave her metacam. She did not improve much being quite lethargic and seemed to be bothered by her ears. When we took her back to the vets a week later they found ear infection in both ears, one quite bad. We treated the ear infection over the course of 2 weeks and she showed good improvements. However, I stopped giving her metacam one day last week and the next day she was almost back to square 1 again. Gave her it again the next day and she returned to what she was like day before. However, and this may just be never having noticed this before, she only seems to want to tilt her head to one side now and does this very often. I’m reading online this could be a sign of a brain tumour and also that is what might have caused the ear infections. Furthermore, taking her off the metacam and her not being great wouldn’t just be a lasting sign of ear infections? My wife is telling me not to stress but I cannot get that thought out of my head. Thanks for reading and can give more details if needed
