My Dog limps on his right leg for 2-3mins after waking up from sleep and he acts normal post that and this is happening only from last night , he acts normally runs around and looks he is in no pain. I visited my vet and they give him hemp oil and nerve supplement for 4 weeks, what could be the reason for his limping? I left his body harness overnight and is it the reason ?

Hello!  Am I right in understanding that your dog woke up and limped on just one occasion, and then stopped limping?  If so, perhaps they slept in an awkward position or something like that.   However, if he continues to limp in the morning and then feel better ie chronically / over time / regularly, your vet may wish to see you back again.  A stiffness in the morning, and then easing out of it on a regular basis, can be an early sign of arthritis.

Do you often walk or run your dog? Her feet may be sore and stiff from not moving much. My youngest friend had that. I bought him everything he needed, including harnesses because it's a handy accessory for walking now we try to run every day.

It is usually a good idea to check with your vet how much exercise they want a limping dog to do.   Pain is thought to have evolved so that animals do not put too much weight on a limb eg because of arthritis or an injury;  we would strongly advise against just ignoring it and exercising the dog more - at least until a vet has been seen.
