Hello I have a pug and a french bulldog and they have managed to get into the bags of fish pellets and eat the whole bag.
will this harm them? Do they need a vet visit or is it just going to upset their tummy?
ive attached some photos of the ingredients
thank you in advance
Hello! You have done exactly the right thing in retaining the packaging.
I'm afraid it's out of our remit to make emergency judgements on your vets behalf (please check site guidelines later) but if you call the vets emergency line, they may in turn need to call the Veterinary poisons information service, who collect data from pets eating things that they shouldn't and can give the best information about what to do next.
Please call your vets or their emergency equivalents now, to be safe.
All the best.
To answer your question, Vitamin A toxicity is a 'thing' so your vets may want to check this and other ingredients. If there is something to worry about, it is best to find out ASAP so that you can take steps.
