Dogs teeth

Hello vets. I just was noticing my 1.5 year old pitbulls bottom teeth are like brown. Any ideas what it could be? its the same tooth on both sides  of his mouth

Hello - I am concerned that these teeth could be dead, or suffering compromised blood supply, but it's difficuly to tell at this distance.  They could also have some coating or change in coating to the surface.  It doesnt look like tartar though - and you would know if artificial whitening had been done - which makes me more concerned for the first possibility.  Your vet could see this in context and, if they were unsure, might offer an examination under GA or dental radiography in order to take a better look.  Please will you let us know how you get on?
