Curious about the abnormality on my dogs tongue and lips. Doesn’t look like ppv but not sure either I just noticed it this morning and it doesn’t seem to bother him

Hello - I'm a little bit worried about autoimmune disease.   There are other explanations - a burn or infectious disease for example, or occasionally secondary effects of various other diseases eg renal disease.  Any of these would require further action so I would strongly reccommending presenting this lesion to your vet, sooner rather than later.
