Hello - I'm so sorry that you've had such an unpleasant encounter with Feline Panleukopenia, which attacks the guts and immune system and can cause severe illness and death - as well as death or disability in unborn kittens. The treatment of choice is to support a cats' system (with fluids etc) while they fight it and some individuals, even some kittens, do come through surprisingly well - perhaps this kitten inherited plenty antibody from their mother and / or was only exposed to a small dose of the virus at the time. My understanding is that the virus can persist for a long time in the environment, so your kitten may still be exposed to it now. Thus, it is difficult to say definitively at what point you can consider them 'safe.' I do not know your vaccination company and would firmly recommend checking with their scientific team how and whether to resume vaccinations. It will depend to some extent whether a live or dead vaccine is being used. Furthermore, tests may be available to monitor the amount of antibody that your kitten is producing, in order to determine whether they already carry a sufficient amount after all that potential exposure. I hope that something here is useful.
