Hello!   Drinking and urinating excessively is a worrying clinical sign in a dog and should be looked into by your vet as soon as possible- possibly even as an emergency, so it's worth letting your emergency vet triage the case now if that's  possible.  It can be a sign of diabetes or of pyometra for example, neither of which should be taken lightly.  I am slightly surprised by you saying that you hope her back end 'hasn't gone' - where I live in England, this tends to be a colloquial way of saying 'can't support her own back legs any more (skeletally),' but I guess that it can also refer to bladder control and continence.  Whatever the cause, please do seek veterinary attention for this dog as soon as possible and we would be interested to hear what happens next and how you get on.  Wishing you both all the best.
